Job Description:
The Business Analyst will be working with our product managers to help define the product road maps and execute against them to deliver new capabilities for our customers. Candidate will be accountable for analyzing complex business problems, defining project scope, requirements, and then supporting the implementation of new capabilities. Looking for an individual who can work in a matrix organization with highly cross-functional teams and be accountable for partnering with business teams to deliver the future vision for next gen Hematology instrument.

Job Responsibilities:

• Gathers and analyzes internal business requirements by means of interviews, workflow analyses and facilitated discussions with SMEs.
• Translates users' business requirements into detailed functional designs for development, testing and implementation.
• Applies methodologies and prepares detailed specifications using case statements and related documentation.
• Identifies and communicates risks and issues impacting business rules, functional requirements and specifications.
• Participates in and contributes to managing the scope of applications and related changes.
• Assists quality assurance with functional test case reviews.
• Collaborates with stakeholders on the evaluation of the feasibility, effort and costs to implement requirements.
• Anticipates and prevents problems and roadblocks before they occur.
• Performs as subject matter advisor to less experienced team members. May participate in teaching and training members of work team.

• Collaborate with offshore development team during project execution

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst

• At least 3 years of experience with requirements specification and development, such as process/functional requirements definition methods, use case development, process flow diagrams, behavior driven development

• Experience using consulting skills and developing client relationships.

• Experience using analytical skills, tools and techniques to investigate information and to draw conclusions.

• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

• Experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects

• Familiar with software requirement management tool e.g Jama and software project tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent organization, presentation, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Healthcare domain knowledge (Hematology) is a plus
