Job description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full cycle recruitment at all levels across the organization. He/she will ensure positions are filled quickly with high quality staff through proactive and strategic efforts while utilizing a variety of mediums. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will report to the VP, Human Resources.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct full cycle recruiting for open and confidential positions across multiple disciplines and within all levels of the organization, including executive roles.

  • Responsible for planning, sourcing, assessment, pre-screening, face-to-face interviews, selection, reference checking, and early onboarding.

  • Preparing and posting internal/external advertisements in the Applicant Tracking System; reviewing resumes and applications.

  • Partnering with hiring leaders and HR leader to understand business & recruiting needs to establish effective recruiting strategies for each role.

  • Develop creative recruiting and sourcing strategies to proactively build a robust pipeline of active and passive talent in core functional categories.

  • Track/analyze recruiting progress throughout the entire life-cycle to report back to leadership.

  • Maintain knowledge of current human resources trends, state & federal regulations, and company policies.

  • Research, coordinate and participate in offsite recruitment events or outreach programs to facilitate recruitment.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years relevant experience in full cycle recruitment/talent acquisition

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field

  • Experience dealing with high volume recruitment and hard to fill positions, preferably in the Real Estate, Construction or Development industry

  • Experience using Applicant tracking system, internet and like technologies to source candidates

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

  • Must pass enhanced background check

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
