OneOf is looking for an exceptional and experienced VP of Product with a Blockchain focus to ideate, strategize, plan execute and lead the consumer blockchain experience at OneOf and to work with our VP of Product to integrate those concepts into our platform. The right leader will know how to build a blockchain product organization, instill a culture of excellence and passion with the blockchain team and deliver fantastic world-class experiences for end-users. As Vice President of Blockchain Product, you will assist with the product strategy focusing on the next generation non native crypto users to join and engage in our platform.
Responsibilities:
- Work with our CEO and CTO to ideate, design and build scalable blockchain services to integrate into our platforms
- Work cross-functinally to provide insight into our user growth strategy, spanning web products, data analytics, testing, and automation
- Build-out our modern web3 and web2 architecture for these products to enable us to more quickly ship new features into production at scale
- Recommending infrastructure solutions to meet the business requirement in compliance with IT policy & procedure
- Create a strategy behind a product and oversee the launch of that product from start to the very end
- Identify risks and issues with the business and propose/manage ideas for mitigation or elimination.
- Provide thorough documentation, training and materials to educate on the product to both internal and external audiences
- Own the responsibility for analysis, design and implementation of blockchain products
- Recruit, hire and mentor, motivate and promote world-class blockchain product talent of all levels of experience
Qualifications:
- You have 10+ years of experience building and delivering user-centered, engaging experiences across various platforms and can demonstrate the success and impact of your efforts for both users and business.
- Including 5+ years of management experience, including experience leading large product teams of 20+ people within a cross-functional organization.
- 3 years minimum previous experience in developing products working with Blockchain-based applications
- A leader who people want to follow. You build trust, inspire, and mentor your team.
- Solid programming skills, with strong experience in Solidity and decentralized architectures through DAO's, oracles, and other supporting infrastructure
- Proficiency using HTML/CSS/Javascript/AJAX for real-world websites/applications
- Willingness to learn and use the variety of different blockchain platforms
- A leader who possesses a deep knowledge of consumer products, highly refined visual design sensibility, and a passion for mobile.
- A great communicator (verbal, written, and visual) who can influence and build consensus both within a product team and with executive stakeholders across the company.
- BA/BS and/or MA/MS in a related field
- Experience building mobile consumer apps, viewing, and discovery experiences at a platform level.
