Job description

Our Mission: Grace Place puts faith into action providing pathways out of poverty by educating children and families.

Summary/Objective:

The Data Analyst works closely with the Director of Curriculum and Student Performance and the Program Managers to assist with collecting and inputting data into our data bases and make this data accessible for reporting outcomes and writing reports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Data Oversight

· Ensure all required data is accurately obtained and entered into EZ Reports and Efforts To Outcomes (ETO) databases meeting deadlines for data entry.

· Create reports using the data for grant reports, for the development team, and monitoring student progress.

· Support the Site Coordinator with obtaining students grades, progress, and data from CCPS.

Data Analysis

· Performing statistical analysis of data.

· Create reports using tools and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs

· Preparing reports and presenting these to the appropriate team.

And

  • Performs any other duties or responsibilities as requested.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree required: concentration in analytics, computer science, finance or related field.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in related field.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, use of the internet, and basic computer skills sufficient to maintain program records and budgets, generate publicity materials, and communicate with parents, volunteers, partners, and community.
  • Experience with Raiser Edge and Financial Edge preferred.
  • Demonstrate and eye for detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to the mission and core values of Grace Place.
  • Current first aid and CPR certificates (can obtain within 90 days of employment).
  • Willing to submit to Fingerprinting and Background Checks.
  • Compliance with Good Moral Character as descried by DCF.
  • Commitment to supporting the leadership culture of the organization.

Work Environment: Position requires working in numerous locations which include varied temperature, noise level, and other factors that may affect a person's working conditions while performing the job.

Position Type and Expected Working Hours: Part-time - Anticipated working hours of approximately Monday to Friday 8:30 - 5:00, including some evenings and weekends as needed.

Physical Demands: Bending, sitting, and standing for long periods of time. May require lifting objects weighing up to 20 lbs. as needed.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Background check, fingerprinting required.
