Job description

The Office Manager / Bookkeeper reports the financial condition of the company, develops the controls necessary for the proper conduct of the business, maintains accurate records, and establishes and maintains data processing systems to accomplish the set objectives. He or she creates reports of financial status, manages operations for the accounting team, and provides administrative assistance as needed.

The ideal candidate has some post-secondary education or training and at least two years of related experience. He or she is experienced with all aspects of managing the administrative and accounting department functions of a company, is detail-oriented and good with numbers, and is proficient with computers and the internet, including accounting software and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Quickbooks.
