Job Description:

Quality Enterprises USA, Inc. (QE) is a leading construction firm based in Southwest Florida that focuses on major civil, building, and specialized construction in both the private and public sectors. QE is seeking a Payroll Specialist - a full-time accounting position responsible for maintaining employee data, processing payroll, supporting benefits administration, and general data reporting.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Responsible for timely & accurate processing of weekly payroll in ExakTime & Viewpoint Vista
• Ensure all payroll tasks are completed timely, accurately, and in accordance with federal, state, and local laws
• Oversee and process new hire onboarding paperwork
• Manage employee benefits enrollment
• Assist with 401K and annual audit
• Respond to employee related questions in a timely and professional manner
• Additional responsibilities in the human resources department as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• Prior experience in all aspects of job cost accounting, certified payroll, and related tax filings
• General ledger coding experience and working knowledge of general accounting procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
• Proficient in data entry

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Experience with Viewpoint's Vista Software
• Experience with ExakTime or other mobile timekeeping software
• Bilingual - English/ Spanish preferred
• Past experience in the construction industry preferred, and job cost accounting
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Must be accurate, detail oriented, and able to prioritize
• Be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
