JOB SUMMARY:
The Treasury Sales officer role is aligned to work with COM, Branch and Wealth partners (per the portfolio being covered) to call on clients directly, by phone and digital channels, to offer expertise, advice and guidance on the array of Treasury Management services offered by Seacoast Bank. The role is expected to produce top flight sales production results and do so in a manor where internal and external clients experience a level of outstanding professionalism, communication and consistencies.
In concert with these internal partnerships, the Treasury Management Officer will have shared responsibility for developing and expanding commercial customer relationships; assessing customer needs and identifying appropriate TM bank products. Role will follow a defined sales and service model as we deliver in a one team fashion.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's Degree Required
* 3+ years of Treasury Management Experience required
* Well-developed consultative selling skills with the ability to position capabilities, sell value and close opportunities
* Ability to self-manage schedule, workload, priorities, and partnerships
* An appreciation of the value approach our TM Sales team needs to take including assessing client's cash flow needs and processes and then appropriately positioning TM banking solutions
* Demonstrates the ability to understand Treasury Services products, pricing philosophy, and billing process and procedures
* Superior verbal and written communication skills, ability to own the message and communicate situationally and persuasively with customers and internal partners. Top flight presentation and objection resolution skills are needed
* Ability to create an internal network and relationships with teammate resources that are essential to successful outcomes
* Time management, organizational and planning skills with proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) and superior analytical and quantitative skills
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
* Consistently meet and exceed pre- determined sales targets, manage the depth of the portfolio to insure consistency of client touches
* Consult with prospective businesses in identifying the proper treasury solutions to meet the business needs.
* Be the key driver of Quarterly Call Plan process with the relationship managers to insure frequent re-prioritization of calling efforts.
* Utilize QCPs as a blue print for month to month priorities and closing focuses and upcoming call arrangements
* Act as key contributor and partner in delivering needed training and process and procedure updates within the Bank. Emphasis on teaching ways to uncover and refer Treasury Solutions
* Regular, structured and effective reporting and best practices communication back to the coverage teams supported with updates, results, and sales tools
* Have a keen focus on top flight and seamless implementation work as opportunities are being closed. Insure smooth and informed transitions to On Boarding partners (when needed) and create a client centric approach that leads to great outcomes and timely set ups and speed to revenue
* Be aware and eager to identify solid Bank and TM Prospects in respective markets and work in unison with relationship partners on best approach to engage these prospects
* This position requires developing a strong pipeline for new revenue growth and developing and maintaining relationships with existing accounts and other COIs to aid in identifying/soliciting new revenue growth opportunities.
* Proactively informs and/or engages TM leaders (and as appropriate Relationship partners) around issues, risks, and opportunities that are occurring thru course of business.
* Always Apply required control procedures and put risk management processes as a keen priority
WORKING CONDITIONS:
* Extended working hours may be required as dictated by business needs and special projects and assignments
* Travel to multiple locations and facilities across our footprint may be required.
* May be required to sit/review information on a computer screen for long periods of time.
* May require repetitive motions of the hands and wrist related to writing and typing at an electronic keyboard.
