Job description
SUMMARY:
This position will manage both routine and advanced finance processes, including but not limited to; budgeting & cash flow management, enhancing management predictive reporting tools, leveraging technology and best-practice workflow design. The Manager, FP&A role requires someone who is self-starting, energetic, and focused.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain financial models and forecasts to support frequent business plan updates and analysis for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives
- Support the annual financial planning process, including the development of robust revenue, expense, and cash forecast assumptions
- Partner with department leadership to obtain business insights to be incorporated into the forecast
- Build an in-depth understanding of all lines of business and analyze key drivers for each, to be able to identify efficiencies and provide recommendations to improve results - either enhanced revenues or cost savings - across departments
- Collaborate with the Accounting team on detailed review of financial data and propose adjustments accordingly
- Responsible for monthly reporting of actuals and variance analysis to department leadership
- Assist in preparation of monthly reporting package and financial analytics for senior management
- Support development of Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium's strategic business plans through the creation of scenario analysis reports to help enable swift decision making
Experience / Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years of finance experience reporting and forecasting in an FP&A environment
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills; ability to collect and analyze financial and operational data to develop projections and forecasts
- Superior PowerPoint and Excel skills a must
- Experience using financial reporting systems (Microsoft F&O) and/or financial planning systems a plus
- Self-starter, highly motivated and detail oriented
