Your profile

• Minimum bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent

• Min 10yrs experience (including people leadership) in design engineering, structural analysis and mechanical integrity, turbomachinery design, or similar.

• Proficient in common CAD tools (Nx preferred) and FEA tools (ANSYS / Simcenter preferred).

• Additive Manufacturing experience strongly preferred

• Customer and business development experience preferred

• CFD or Heat Transfer experience a plus.

Your responsibilities

• Serve as a technical lead on customer AM design projects, taking ownership of project scope, execute design and analysis of customer components, and work directly with customer and the project engineers to iterate to a manufacturable and high performing product.

• Leverage proficiencies across multiple software tools (such as CAD, FEA, CFD, Process Simulation) as well as fundamental understanding of engineering principles.

• Working closely with Sales to develop external customer opportunities for AM services

• Working with technical experts from Design and R&D to ensure latest technical developments are being incorporated into external customer solutions

• Work in close conjunction with the manufacturing teams to ensure smooth hand off between technical proposal and order execution

• Document lessons learned and develop processes and Way-of-Working, regarding AM applications
