Abbott Rapid Dx North America, LLC's Orlando site is part of Global Business Services (GBS) within the Abbott Rapid Diagnostics (ARDx) Division. GBS has a global accountability to deliver an exceptional customer experience and create business value through compliance, standardization and data analytics. The Associate Project Manager is a key member of the Business Services Support team. This role supports internal project and process management, including process documentation, project issue, risk, and change tracking, and solution delivery processes. This role works with project managers, business analysts, and functional subject matter experts to help define operational improvements within our workgroups. Also works closely with key stakeholders to help define solutions and efficiencies, report status of existing projects, and develop templates to create efficiencies within existing business processes.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Support the project management effort for GBS. Assist in the planning and execution of project rollouts.
* Identify and describe the impact of a proposed solution on the organization's operations.
* Define solution benefits and approaches for measuring and realizing value.
* Align with our business and technology partners to deliver solutions.
* Identify dependencies and focus on removing impediments to project completion.
* Analyze the results of solution implementation to determine effectiveness and capture lessons learned.
* Gather and analyze large amounts of information quickly and problem solve effectively.
* Communicate effectively with a variety of operational team leaders.
* Work both independently and in groups in a variety of situations requiring analytical-interpretive, evaluative, and constructive thinking.
* Work with subject matter experts and leadership to identify areas for process improvement and standardization.
* Support ad hoc analysis and special projects on an as needed basis
* Collaborate with Training team and assist in developing new training tasks (operational procedures/work instructions) as required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
Required
* Bachelor's Degree
* 3+ years analyst experience required
* Advanced experience in Excel and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Access, Word, PowerPoint) and project-tracking tools required
* Demonstrated written and verbal communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
Preferred
* Experience with SAP preferred
* Excellent attention to detail, well-organized, highly accountable, and self-motivated
* Demonstrated ability to succinctly summarize processes for all levels within the organization
* Ability to support multiple business areas
* Excellent analytical insight, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
* Previous project delivery experience
* Self-motivated, action-oriented individual with the perseverance to push high-value projects through to completion
* Developed time-management and priority-setting skills required to work in an often ambiguous and constantly changing business environment
