Performance Manager and Class A CDL Truck Drivers for the Amazon Freight Partner program

Shifts: Morning, Afternoon, Evening

Location: Orlando, FL

Compensation: Starting pay $22 per hour + benefits

We are hiring Class A CDL Drivers who have experience in clerical positions as well as leading roles for our rapidly expanding needs. Pamm English Trucking LLC is seeking enthusiastic, motivated Class A CDL drivers based out of Orlando, FL for the Amazon Freight Partner Program. Your primary position will be Performance Manager and you will fill driving shifts as needed. As Performance Manager you will be responsible for maintaining driver morale while encouraging great scores. As an on call CDL Driver, you will deliver, using Amazon Equipment and technology, on daily, local routes that have you home after each shift. Our deliveries vary from 100% no touch freight (drop and hook only) to live loads. These local routes are roughly 300-500 miles round trip. You will not be employed by Amazon, instead, you will be working directly for a local transportation company that partners with Amazon.

What you'll do: As Performance Manager you will monitor and maintain different systems that are responsible for tracking the success of our drivers. As a CDL Driver, you will play a key role in keeping our commitment to exceed customer expectations and ensuring customer orders, large or small, are delivered on time and at the right place.

What you'll need:

• Must be at least 21 years old

• Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)

• Must Successfully Pass DOT Physical

• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records

• No current CDL suspension or revocation

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) & good DAC Report

• Successfully pass a background check

• Must pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen

• Ability to effectively learn and operate a GPS

• Must be able to use handheld technology and smart phone applications

. Must own PC or Laptop with Microsoft office or popular word processor.

. Must have intermediate computer skills

• Must be flexible with work schedule (Day/Evening/Night shifts/Weekends)

Detailed Performance manager duties include:

. Use of a good sense of creativity, researching skills, teamwork, emotional intelligence and risk management in order to be effective at problem solving and decision making.

. Managing our Smart Drive account by checking regularly for any events that occur, coaching drivers on improvable habits and writing corrective action notices for repeat offenders.

. Tracking the performance of all drivers by comparing performance scores and compiling the information into a weekly email. As well as writing corrective action notices for poor performers.

. Writing and delivering all corrective action notices concerning behaviors that you have observed or have come to your attention through the management team. As well as keeping account of all these notices in drivers' personal files.

. Managing our Sentix account by enforcing training standards for all active drivers and assisting drivers complete all trainings listed in the system.

. Acting as active recruiter when the need arises to replace drivers by operating our hiring platform. This includes screening applicants to find the best fits for the company, organizing employee files for each active driver/applicant to comply with DOT standards, enrolling new hires in all systems that you manage, delivering all new hire forms and information, and helping where needed throughout the hiring process to get new hires educated in our company's standards to be successful in their new positions.

. Managing our Consortium by assigning each drivers' initial drug test and any random drug test thereafter. As well as managing our driver pool regularly to maintain only active drivers.

. Managing our Clearinghouse account by annually running queries on all active drivers and entering all new drivers into the Clearinghouse system. As well as acting as the liaison between the driver and Clearinghouse that assist drivers who have failed drug test to return to duty.
