Job description

Established Civil Engineering Land Development Firm in Downtown Orlando is currently seeking a **AutoCAD Civil 3D Designer** for land development projects. This is a full time position

+ Utilize AutoCAD software(s), including Civil 3D, to create engineering construction documents (CADD drawings).

+ Ability to produce high quality technical and professional deliverables.

+ Make required changes, additions, and/or revisions to existing CADD drawings.

+ Analyze incoming data and determines solutions with minimal guidance.

+ Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine appropriate solution.

+ Assist office staff in use of AutoCAD software, including trouble-shooting of CAD issues.

+ Possess a sound understanding of project expectations, role, available tools and resources, networks, workflow, scope, and budget.

+ Coordinate on projects with other disciplines.

+ Provide ongoing project / task updates regarding progress to keep others informed of current status and outstanding issues before they become problems.

**Required Qualifications**

+ 4+ years of CADD production experience utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D software for civil design projects.

+ High School Diploma or Technical School Certificate in Drafting/Design or Engineering.

+ Extensive Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D grading design and plan production.

+ Developed experience in technical civil engineering and associated disciplines.

+ Demonstrates excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Experience with hydrology design including drainage plans, irrigation control plans, stormwater management, septic and sanitary sewer design.
