Our client is a well-established, owner-operated property management firm.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Human Resources Manager will be responsible for assisting the company in meeting its growth objectives. Working full-time in Orlando, Florida, you will report to the Company's Chief Operating Officer and will be a key member of management as you will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources through planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.

  • Align HR objectives with overall company goals & objectives and nurture a positive working environment.
  • Oversee a recruiting team that engages in recruitment, hiring, new employee orientation, and onboarding process to ensure staffing needs are met across all business units.
  • Promote and foster the organization's employee relations philosophy by being an advocate of a team-oriented and progressive workplace.
  • Responsible for performance management activities including coaching and counseling, development planning, and performance improvement, and maintaining overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures.
  • Maintain and communicate employee benefits programs to employees; facilitate new hire enrollment and annual open enrollment.
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of proven working experience as an HR manager.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Experience with HRIS, applicant tracking systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated experience with full life cycle recruiting.
  • Strong employee relations background.
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable State and Federal employment laws across multiple states.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Travel 10-15%.
  • Experience with Real Estate/Multifamily Property Management industry
  • Master's Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration (Prefered)
  • SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR Certification (Prefered)
