An Entertainment Company is seeking a Lead Data Cloud Architect in Orlando, FL.
Role Description
Supports definition of software and hardware capabilities needed to support deployment of business, information and application services. Identifies, evaluates and recommends solutions and technologies to facilitate development and implementation. Helps ensure integrity, security, availability, effectiveness, and efficiency of technology infrastructure, including middleware, networks, communications, processing and standards. Understands business needs and customer and market requirements. Applies technical and theoretical knowledge to solve architectural design problems. Recommends and develops frameworks and standards. Helps identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure problems. Develops and executes test plans to check infrastructure technical development; recommends improvements
• Supports/Drives Solution Strategies (Google Platform vs. AWS)
• Data / Solution Architect for new projects. Accountable for End-to-End data architecture, diagram, review board and security
• Final decision maker on tools/frameworks to use for GCP/AWS delivery
• Technical Resource for POCs/Vendor partnerships
• Implement standards, support the improvement of the team's development practice
• Mentor and guide for team's technical growth
• Network/Partner with Parks Data Platform teams. Learns developed frameworks and fit for Consumer Products
• Builds technical strategy to move legacy data platforms/analytics to a cloud solution
Skills & Requirements
• 5+ years of Cloud architecture experience
• Experience in AWS BigData platforms and solutions
• Working knowledge of components of .NET, Java, XML, C++, Linux, AIX, Windows, and relational databases
• Deep knowledge of Google solutions and frameworks: DataFlow, BigQuery, Kubernetes, Google Pub/Sub
• Working knowledge of Java
Strong expertise required in the following fundamental GCP Services:
• VPC, Cloud VPN, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud DNS, Cloud CDN
• Cloud IAM, Cloud Identity, Cloud KMS and Access Management
• Access Management, Encryption, GCP Organization, Billing and Cost Explorer
• Cloud Storages, App Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine,
• Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Dataproc , Cloud Pub/Sub
• Cloud Sql, Big Query, Big Table
• Cloud Datalab, Data Studio, Cloud ML
• Cloud Build, Cloud Scheduler
• Cloud Storage Transfer Service, Stackdriver
