We are currently seeking a Real Estate Assistant to join the Foundry Commercial team in Orlando, FL.


Position Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting the Property Management team by processing accounts payable for Foundry managed properties, maintaining electronic records of property information, and document preparation and monitoring as needed.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for coding and inputting invoices.
  • Assists real estate managers, assistant real estate managers, accounting managers, and accountants with accounts payable issues.
  • Answers property inquiries via phone, fax and email.
  • Meets all weekly deadlines.
  • Understands and complies with all Foundry Commercial A/P policies and procedures.
  • Provides research assistance.
  • Works with multiple accounting systems (i.e., Yardi, MRI, etc.).
  • Performs various other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience Requested:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university preferred
  • Minimum of 2+ years of accounting experience, some commercial real estate or property management experience preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and other spreadsheet applications, as well as experience in real estate accounting software (Yardi, MRI, CTI).
  • Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time to meet client deadlines
