Job description
Position Overview:Kiadis, a Sanofi Company is seeking a highly motivated individuals with solid training in immunology or related field to join our group located in Orlando, Florida, USA, as an Associate Scientist or Sr Associate Scientist, commensurate with experience. This individual will apply scientific expertise in immunology of primary human cells to support the development of NK cell therapeutics in oncology. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and multi-disciplinary environment in early drug discovery with significant career development opportunity.Position Overview & Key Responsibilities:Work as part of a global research team to support the discovery and development to advance NK cell therapeutics for cancer immunotherapy.Follow directives and able to complete tasks and experiments expeditiously to meet project team goals.Work in alignment with manager and project lead to perform in vitro experiments, including isolation and characterization human primary immune cells using standard immunological techniques, transcriptomic analysis.Document all experimental design, protocols, results and interpretations in electronic laboratory notebook in a timely manner.Present research findings and progress at project team meetings.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree plus minimum 4 years of relevant research experience in an academic or biopharmaceutical setting OR Master's Degree plus minimum 1 year of relevant research experience in an academic or biopharmaceutical setting.Working experience with mammalian cell cultures, including primary human cells.Good understanding of human immunobiology, lymphocyte populations.Hands-on experience in performing primary immune cell-based assays, including immunophenotyping, cell proliferation, DNA/RNA isolation.Able to perform data analysis using Excel or and GraphPad Prism.Working knowledge of cell culture systems, including cytokine measurements and other relevant techniques.Be able to effectively communicate and function independently in a highly collaborative, matrix environment.Must be self-motivated and data-driven.Must be able and willing to learn and incorporate new concepts and technologies.Must have permanent US work authorizationPreferred Qualifications:Prior experience in biopharmaceutical industry is desired.Prior experience with immuno-oncology drug discovery, especially biologics, is strongly preferred.Good understanding of immunology, genetics, or cell biology is preferred.Sanofi Inc. and its U.S. affiliates are Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employers committed to a culturally diverse workforce.
