The Senior Finance Manager Logistics & Operations is a lead member of the finance team that is the liaison between procurement, operations, logistics, supply chain, accounting, and finance. The ideal candidate must understand complex dynamics of sales demand, production trends, supply expectations, transportation, inventory, and labor productivity. The successful candidate will have previous logistics experience, and capabilities handling a highly visible role in a complex, large organization to ultimately drive operations in order to maximize profitability. The candidate will possess strong decision making and influencing skills.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Responsibility of financial support for 5 Business Units including: forecasting, accounting, and analysis for our supply chain, finance, and logistics teams incorporating distribution centers and 3PL activity.
  • Develop business cases, analysis, presentations and communication packages in support of major initiatives ensuring connectivity across supply chain and commercial partners.
  • Lead the reporting process capturing and disseminating leading and lagging indicators (KPI's) to supply chain, finance, and HQ leaders.
  • Guide sound business decisions to meet and exceed overall financial and strategic directives of the division.
  • Actively partner and support business unit supply chain, finance, and ARDx HQ teams providing pertinent data and insights to establish operational and financial goal alignment.
  • Partner with Business Units to ensure accuracy of inventory across the supply systems in accordance with financial controls.
  • Recommend improvements with a goal to drive system, process, and reporting enhancements.
  • Deliver results to supply chain and finance leadership while leading and supporting a team that analyzes and investigates freight and inventory movement ensuring tight controls.
  • Represent GBS by owning the liaison relationship with ARD HQ and BU's on COGs priorities
  • Institute benchmarking and gap analysis
  • Drive data driven decision making capturing the full value of supply chain excellence initiatives.
  • Develop new and streamline existing processes and systems as required to ensure more efficient delivery of value add information to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Actively creates an engaging, high performance learning environment for peers and direct reports through coaching and guidance for development and delivery of business objectives.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

Required

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance or related required, MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience in supply chain, program management, planning, manufacturing, financial or related fields.
  • Advanced experience in Excel and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Access, Word, Powerpoint
  • Excellent attention to detail, well-organized, and highly accountable
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience presenting to executive level audiences

Preferred

  • MBA preferred
  • Experience presenting and analyzing large quantities of data with strong spreadsheet and database query experience (e.g. SQL, Python, VB) a plus
  • Experience with process flowchart tools such as MS Visio a plus
  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • Exceptional analytical insight, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with limited guidance
  • Self-motivated, action-oriented individual with the perseverance to push high value projects through to completion
  • Developed time management and priority setting skills required to work in an often ambiguous and constantly changing business environment
