Business Technical Analyst - Senior Associate
Position Summary:
Grant Thornton is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Enterprise Technology Strategy (ETS) practice and take an active role in engagement execution, project management and key business development activities.

Our public sector team members find solutions that help government leaders with issues including acquisitions, financial management, human capital, information technology and performance management in federal, state, local and international governments.
Essential Duties:
- Interacts with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts in order to understand their problems and needs.
- Gathers and synthesizes as well as analyzes and documents business needs and requirements including, but not limited to, schedules, risks, and issues.
- Critical thinking skills and oral and written communication skills to provide communications project plans as deliverables for DCC marketing and communications campaigns. These project plan deliverables include management of campaign stakeholders, work breakdown structures, and day to day schedules for staff to ensure campaigns go out on time, are of a high quality, and reach over 40M customers with personalized communications.
- Support sequencing view development in collaboration with Project and Program Master Schedulers; providing sequencing meeting support and reporting needs
- Evaluating customer requirements and design compliant, cost-effective architectural solutions that meet customer application, security, technology, and business requirements and seek to reduce the overall cost of sustaining the clients' systems and applications.
- Provide solution and service engineering activities, i.e. proof-of concepts, pilots, use case development, solution validation, workshops, and enablement.
- Proactively identify and implement strategies to improve process.
Required Attributes:
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum three years experience in public sector consulting, or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
- U.S. citizenship required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
- Analytical thinking and problem solving; interpersonal and consultative skills; organizational skills; knowledge of business structure; stakeholder analysis; oral and written communication skills; being detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy
- Maintain knowledge of current features, planned future capabilities, and limitations of leading commercial platforms (AWS, MS Azure, etc.)
- Proficient with Schedule and Cost Maintenance.
- Travel may be required.
- Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
- Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
- Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
