Volunteer Coordinator

Full-time

Harbor House is seeking an experienced, dynamic individual to be responsible for the planning, implementation, and monitoring the volunteer program for Harbor House of Central Florida. Coordinates the recruitment, orientation, training, support and recognition of individuals who volunteer their time and/or services to Harbor House.

Position requires public speaking skills, ability to produce professional reports, to prioritize tasks and utilize time and resources effectively and intermediate to advanced computer skills including knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications. The successful candidate must possess excellent organizational and customer service skills.

Bachelor's degree in BA/BS degree in Social Services field, Community or Public Relations preferred. 1 year experience in Public Speaking/Relations and volunteer coordination.

Must attend a 3 day training in order to become CORE certified prior to working with survivors.
