Summary

The Appraisal Assistant is an administrative support team member who's job is to support the delivery of an appraisal report to our clients and continuously update & manage our rent and sales comparable databases.

Who You Are

An enthusiastic commercial real estate administrative support team member, possibly with experience supporting a commercial brokerage or looking to use your multiple years of experience as a broker to support our efforts as you step back from that role. This role does not necessarily require a bachelor's degree so long as you have a strong familiarity with the local commercial real estate landscape. You are confident and able to ask relevant questions about the geographic area they are responsible for collecting comparable sales data for. You have a comfort with cold calling and are a strong written and verbal communicator. You'll be highly organized and come to work with a can do attitude and possess excellent research skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Research and write up detailed reports on verified sales and comparables
• Qualify rough sales data
• Research and qualify comparable leads
• Communicate with market participants in order to gain further information about comps
• Verify comparable information including sales price, motivation of buyer/seller, conditions of sale, recent improvements to the property, income profiles, and the circumstances surrounding any concessions
• Add Bowery appraisal assignments to database for use as future comps
• Report Data Entry of property
• Putting Together report Addendums
• Helping with Insurable Value
• Gathering Zoning
• Off App Template Data Entry
