Job description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
-Accurately process all cash, credit payments, other forms of payment, and work with POS system
-Ensure pricing is correct and issue change and receipts
-Ability to absorb large amounts of information quickly: Service procedures, products, micros point of sales.
-Accounts for all cash and secures money drops in accordance with hotel and company policies.
-Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
-Ensure outlet is clean and organized.
-Informing Manager of low stock and assist with stock and inventory as needed.
-Assist guests with purchase of self-serve yogurt.
-Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.
-Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
-Cashier, retail and/or customer service experience preferred
-Café experience preferred. 3-6 months related experience and/or training.
-Florida Food Handlers certifications
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
-Must have the ability to communicate in English.
-Ability to balance cash drawer and exercise math and basic accounting skills.
-Strong attention to detail
-Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
-Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
-Can communicate well with guests.
-Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.
-Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
-Ability to lift/ carry 6-25lbs.
