KELLY SERVICES IS LOOKING FOR TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST

Job Description: Talent Acquisition Specialist collaborates and partners with managers across multiple geographies to deliver full-cycle talent acquisition services, including developing innovative staffing strategies and building candidate pipelines.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish effective consultative partnerships with hiring managers to develop and implement candidate sourcing and staffing strategies and build candidate pipelines.
  • Deliver end-to-end talent acquisition services to assigned business units. Manage requisitions for assigned business units. Conduct in-depth candidate screenings based on defined standards and processes using behaviorally-based methodologies. Recommend candidates to hiring teams, oversee interviews scheduling, manage offers extension, and complete the position disposition process.
  • Assist management to track key staffing metrics, e.g., open requisitions, time to fill, offer acceptance rates, cost-per-hire, sourcing effectiveness, selection ratios, yield ratios, new hire retention ratios, and candidate and hiring manager satisfaction.
  • Assist with delivery of in-person and virtual training, as assigned, to develop and improve hiring manager's interviewing skills, knowledge and understanding of interview techniques, hiring processes, systems, and proper documentation of candidate assessments. Collaborate with talent acquisition specialists to ensure training effectiveness.
  • Conduct new employee onboarding interviews and ensure data is collected and reported timely.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, employment laws and regulations, and talent acquisition best practices and technologies. Recommend improvements to existing staffing tools, processes, and standards.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Working understanding of full-cycle recruiting, e.g., sourcing (job boards, niche communities, social networking), interviewing, qualifying, salary trends, and negotiation.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using applicant tracking systems, HRIS, and social media, e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Demonstrated computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, assignments, and priorities, completing them within deadlines.
  • Demonstrated understanding of relationship management and partnering. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals and build effective working relationships. Ability to respond to sensitive matters with diplomacy and empathy.
  • Good presentation skills. Confident communicator with demonstrated ability to present information effectively to audiences, e.g., small groups and individuals.
  • Team-oriented with an ability to effectively engage with others on day-to-day activities.
  • Good critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others and influence change. Ability to establish credibility and be decisive.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • High energy level. Self- starter; willing to take initiative.

Requirements

  • Four years of full-cycle recruiting experience. Equivalent combination of relevant human resources experience may be considered in lieu of recruiting experience.
  • Preferences
  • Two years of multi-site recruiting experience.
  • One year of experience with an applicant tracking system.
  • Bachelor's degree. Equivalent combination of education, experience, training, or certification may be considered in lieu of degree.
