We are looking for a BDR Manager who has had experience managing, scaling, and training the sales team! The ideal candidate is a humble & empathic leader with the ability to excel in a player/coach environment. In this new role, you'll manage & coach our highly motivated and growing team of BDRs and deliver on pipeline and revenue goals. You will own and manage a qualified leads funnel and will be responsible for consistently optimizing the team's results to increase the volume and quality of new business opportunities for our Enterprise and Mid-market sales teams.

What you'll do:

  • Hire, train and manage a growing team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs), particularly focused on the fortune 500 companies, whose roles consist of both inbound & outbound prospecting, pipeline generation, and opportunity qualification.
  • Design and implement a sales development training program.
  • Oversee the daily activities and quota performance management of individual BDRs to ensure key performance metrics are met on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Partner with the Sales leaders and VP of Marketing to iterate, improve and optimize existing strategies, ensuring performance is aligned with the broader GTM objectives, messaging, and competitive differentiators.
  • Develop a deep understanding of all aspects of the sales process; and be able to clearly articulate our value within the market.
  • Track, analyze, and report on team performance, translating data to actionable insights.
  • Cultivate a safe & supportive culture within the team, coordinating regular 1:1s, call analysis, and training sessions to create a culture of best practice sharing and continual improvement.
  • Provide BDRs with guidance on time management, objection handling and prospecting tactics - while continuing to meaningfully coach towards success in the BDR role and future career aspirations

What you should have:

  • A minimum of 1 years' experience as an SDR/BDR, preferably in B2B SaaS, with 1+ years of sales management experience (Team Lead and/or Manager)
  • Bachelor's preferred
  • Experience partnering closely with the marketing function is preferred
  • Demonstrated history of consistently performing above quota in both inbound & outbound sales environment
  • Experience successfully building out scalable outbound prospecting processes, including customized approaches based on buyers and personas
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate our value proposition
  • Experience using Salesloft, ZoomInfo, Linkedin Sales Navigator, and CRM
