ERP Systems Analyst II

Position Highlights:

  • The ERP Systems Analyst II is responsible for application design, development, implementation, and support of the suite of ERP products and related applications. Primary business areas supported include HR, Payroll, Finance Accounting, Research Finance, Supply Chain, Legal and Compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintains production systems to ensure reliable performance, appropriate change management, and security.
  • Gather requirements, evaluates, designs, codes, tests, and implements custom or vendor supplied system software.
  • Identifies business related issues through interaction with internal customers and end users.
  • Maintains system documentation for procedures, training materials, and policies.
  • Performs post-implementation support of new or re-engineered systems.
  • Provides operational systems support to clients and internal IT teams.

Credentials and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree** - Information Technology, Information Systems, or Business Administration in Information Systems
    • ** - OR - * Bachelor's or Associate's on healthcare/business related discipline with an additional two (2) years IT systems support plus the five (5) years (for a total of 7 years) system development, implementation, and support of ERP Applications may be considered "in lieu of" an IT/IS Bachelor's degree.
    • - OR - * High School diploma/GED with an additional four (4) years IT systems support plus the five (5) years (for a total of 9 years) system development, implementation, and support of ERP Applications may be considered "in lieu of" an IT/IS Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum five (5) years experience with system documentation, development, implementation, and support of ERP Applications at both the functional and technical layers.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of IT Security practices.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Project coordination experience including communication of issues and progress.
  • Experience with SQL, stored procedures, views, and database triggers on Oracle and SQL Server platforms.
  • Relevant experience in a healthcare IT environment.
  • Experience with performance improvement and process management.
  • Proficient in MS Reporting Services, SSIS packages, or other reporting tools.
  • Proficient in JavaScript or other scripting languages.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Project, Visio, and website navigation.
  • Proven ability to learn new skills and technology.
  • Ability to work closely in a team environment.
  • Strong written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated conflict management, organization, and time management skills.

Preferred:
  • Master's degree.
  • Technical experience with Lawson applications.
  • Technical experience with Kronos Workforce Central product.
  • Experience with workflow automation.
  • Experience with document imaging systems such as ImageNow.
