Job description

You will be based in our Phoenix or Tampa office as part of our Human Resources Operations team based in our Tampa Service Center located in St. Petersburg, FL. The St. Petersburg-based HR Operations team is a part of the People Operations function that provides operational support to human resources, recruiting, professional development and talent management. The centralized HR Operations team provides end-to-end HR process support as well as thought partnership on specialized topics like onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits, accommodations and leaves of absence.

You will be responsible for managing individual leaves of absence and accommodation cases for colleagues primarily based in the United States.

In this role, your responsibilies will include, but is not limited to, executing consistent operational processes and navigating ambiguous situations based on a colleague's personal needs. You will communicate empathetically and clearly with colleagues of all backgrounds and experience levels often during challenging and sensitive times in their lives. You will serve as a primary thought partner to global HR community members looking for guidance on flexible working arrangements as needed. You will develop a strong understanding of state and federal leave legislation, and monitor changes to legislation regularly to ensure our processes are compliant.

* Bachelor's degree preferred in HR or related field
* 3+ years of professional experience preferably in HR or a professional services environment
* Working knowledge of and the ability to interpret and administer flexible leave and accommodation programs in accordance with applicable federal and state employment laws (FMLA, state FML, ADA, etc.)
* Exceptional accuracy combined with a focus on efficiency
* Demonstrated personal responsibility and process ownership that drives high-quality results
* Flexibility to work in different time zones
