The Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist partners with business leaders to understand position and business requirements, develops effective recruitment strategies to identify and attract top talent and facilitates a fair and inclusive recruitment process.

Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist partners with business leaders to understand position and business requirements, develops effective recruitment strategies to identify and attract top talent and facilitates a fair and inclusive recruitment process. As subject matter expert in TA, you will develop sourcing strategies and conduct pro-active outreach for hard to fill roles. You will also act as a brand ambassador, build, and nurture relationships with prospective candidates, post-secondary institutions, and industry partners to position Tampa Electric and PGS/TPI as an employer of choice.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and experience, a PHR or SPHR is preferred.
2+ years of Talent Acquisition, Recruitment/Staffing or Human Resources experience with an understanding of full life cycle recruitment. Experience recruiting for IT/Engineering roles highly preferred, in addition to experience recruiting for a broad range of functions including but not limited to HR, Finance/Accounting, Customer Experience.
Utility experience is not a requirement, but is a desired plus +
The ideal candidate will have some experience Recruiting in a Corporate environment or a combination of Corporate and Agency environments
Applicant Tracking System; previous SuccessFactors experience is a plus.
Effective understanding in how to consult with and be a value-add partner to the BU leaders for organizations of support, in addition to screening and sourcing skills.
High degree of initiative, proactive in nature, results oriented with a strong sense of urgency.
Solid project management, negotiation, and organization skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport quickly.
Adaptability, flexibility, and agility to multi-task and prioritize are essential.
Applicant Tracking System and proactive sourcing experience is ideal.
Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of some of the requirements.
