Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
* Coordinates efforts to ensure that information systems support departmental objectives and information management needs.
* Supports efforts to ensure that information systems upholds overall organizational mission and objectives.
* Works closely with departmental customers to conduct business analysis and identify business objectives and requirements.
* Assists in the development of technology plans and strategies.
* Coordinates the planning and implementation of systems related projects.
* Maintains a high level of client satisfaction with Information Services as provided to assigned clients.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree and five years of position specific subject matter knowledge and/or experience in planning and applying information technology to one or more business functions OR equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience working in technical environments/solutioning.
* Working knowledge of: application architecture/topology, how applications share information with each other, databasing and how data sets are structured, shared, transformed, and interpreted (visualized), concepts behind data lakes / warehouses / "lakehouses".
* Ability to translate stakeholder requirements into artifacts/outcomes that are actionable with IT leadership for resource consideration and technical teams developing solutions.
NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department of work. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
