Profile Summary:
The Disabilities & Veterans Recruiting Relationship Specialist is responsible for identifying, creating, maintaining and building relationships with diverse organizations that identify, attract and engage talent, specifically candidates with disabilities and Veteran status. This role is responsible for developing and implementing pipelines of talent to support recruitment plans to achieve qualitative staffing results and diversity hiring objectives. This role maintains a visible profile in the market with prospective candidates and industry networks.
Profile Description:
- Proactively network, source and recruit a diverse slate of candidates to meet the hiring needs of the business and culture of the company.
- Build out recruiting processes with diversity organizations.
- Provide proactive and timely communications to recruiters and candidates with respect to their status in the recruiting process.
- Effectively support production/volume recruiting needs (call centers, operations, etc.)
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate tracking of data in regards to prospects, candidates, and job requisitions according to TA established processes using Workday.
- Attend staff meetings and share relevant information with respect to the job market, sourcing strategies and techniques.
- Provide reporting to the business as required.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years' experience with a proven track record of full-cycle recruiting success in a Corporate or Agency environment.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with hiring managers.
- Experience in a high energy, high volume recruiting environment with the ability to respond to changing markets.
- Experience using sourcing tools and technologies include job boards, Social Media, Linked-In etc.
- Working knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws.
- Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong service orientation with business driven mindset, sense of urgency and continual drive for process improvement. Team player.
