Job description

This Financial Analyst, FP&A and Treasury position is an integral member of the team with responsibilities ranging from Global Treasury to Consolidated Financial Planning & Analysis. This role requires working closely with global financial teams across multiple finance and accounting functions in addition to exposure to Senior Finance and Business leadership. Major responsibilities of the position are listed below. Other duties, assignments and specific projects may be assigned on an ad hoc basis.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Treasury functions include daily account review, cash balance reconciliation, online banking administration, consolidated cash reporting and forecasting, accounts payable management, and wire processing
  • Assist with consolidated budgeting/forecasting process. Focus area will be learning and driving enhancements to the cloud financial planning and forecasting tool, as well as financial reporting
  • Support Corporate G&A department forecasting
  • Assist with month end financial close; maintain monthly and quarterly Finance review calendars
  • Assist Finance Manager during the annual renewal of the Corporate Global Insurance Program
  • Ad hoc analyses, as required


Education

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other analytical field is required.


Experience

  • 2-3 years of professional experience, preferably with working knowledge of banking/treasury function and experience with financial analysis


Additional Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (demonstrated ability to learn online banking platforms and financial planning tools)
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Organized and process oriented while also having ability to adapt to changing environment
  • Motivated, team player while also maintaining ability to work independently
  • Attention to detail and commitment to meet critical deadlines
  • Understanding of accounting and financial reporting with knowledge of Hyperion and Oracle a plus
  • Knowledge of Adaptive Insights Planning tool or other budget/forecasting software applications a plus



Working Environment:

Role will be 100% remote to start. If candidate has a preference to work from the headquarters office in Sandy Springs, GA, that can be considered. Candidate must have proper work-from-home environment (internet, office-space, etc.) to be fully functional away from the office. The role will require some remote vs. office flexibility depending on the go-forward flexible work model (not yet defined). Seeking an applicant local to Atlanta as this team looks to work a hybrid model.
