The Job
Acoustic is looking for an engaging, self-starting, and detailed HR Coordinator to join our fast-growing HR team. This role provides Tier 1 HR support to provide an amazing employee experience and foster our unique culture at Acoustic. This role reports to the SVP, HR and will be instrumental in continuing to build a strong company culture as we scale. What You'll Do
* Manages on-boarding process for new hires and all other related administrative processes in the hiring and termination process.
* Point of contact for team members, answering questions and helping employees navigate all aspects of HR with the assistance the HR/People team
* Act as a key HR point of contact for our employees by maintain our HR mailbox
* Organizing our monthly new hire orientation program globally
* Maintain the accuracy and completeness of electronic employee records
* Partner with talent acquisition team to smoothly transition candidates to new hires
* Owns and maintains HR Intranet site (Confluence) including ensuring all content is up to date and accurate as processes change & improve.
* Contribute to the development and improvement of our HR services by partnering iwht other HR team members and identifying best practices and continuous process improvement
* Create employee specific documentation as needed (i.e. remote work letters, separation documents, etc…)
* Process invoices & provide support with expenses
* Contributes to a wide variety of tasks relating to employee relations.
The Essentials
* Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field preferred
* 1-3 years of human resources experience required
* Organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an excellent "customer service" demeanor
* Strong computer skills, particularly with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* The willingness and ability to quickly learn new computer software/systems
* Must be able to operate efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
* Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without losing sight of timeframes and deadlines
