Job Description


The Key Account Manager, Broker and Alternative Channels maximizes long term BIC brand volume while achieving assigned annual sales budgets and profit goals. This role will co-manage a national broker network to support multiple channels for BIC sales, as well as driving our significant growth in the Alternative Channel. This person will be financially responsible for Zone BDF management while establishing customer spend rates, ensuring the customer P&L is at goal, and maintaining OPEX budget. Partners with cross functional teams from Brand Marketing, Brand Design, Packaging Engineering, Finance, Customer Service, Customer Marketing, Supply Chain and Legal. Provides leadership, training, and coaching to the Convenience Broker in the delivery of top-line sales and profit goals in a consistent and sustainable manner.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver sales growth as established by corporate guidelines
  • Develop strategies to achieve annual sales budget and collaborate with Convenience Broker and Customer Development to implement strategies at the Zone level.
  • Forecast, track and deliver against forecast by category
  • Interface with national broker network to ensure growth and efficiency
  • Deliver on Market Share Objectives
  • Leverage customer analytics to drive key business decisions and drive Superior Customer Engagement and Thought Leadership
  • Develop and Sustain long term relations with customers

Qualifications
  • BA/BS Degree, MBA preferred
  • 5 years of sales experience in CPG industry
  • Broker Management experience a plus
  • People management experience a plus
