Job description

Position Summary

The HR Specialist will provide unrelenting customer service to MC employees, perform a full range of HR functions including administration of HR policies, procedures, programs. He or she will maximize the value of employee communication and employee recognition/appreciation along with ensuring a positive work environment. The candidate must be willing to take on additional responsibilities in areas outside of traditional HR functions.

Minimum Requirements

Must Haves:

3+ years experience working in HR with demonstrated success in recruiting and onboarding employees

Experience with implementing HR Processes (Orientation, uniform, temp employees, etc)

Bachelors degree in related field

Strong interpersonal skills with a service-oriented nature; desire to build relationships with others

Excellent verbal and written communication skills including experience leading teams and public speaking or training

Skilled at using MS Office

Ability to organize work and set priorities to accomplish individual and team goals; may include occasional, non-traditional hours/shifts

**Have to be comfortable with a flexible schedule

Represent the company by coordinating hourly recruiting and on-boarding activities

Conduct hourly new hire orientations

Lead Plant diversity and inclusivity initiatives
