SUMMARY:
The Talent Acquisition Consultant I works in accordance with the TA team to manage the day-to-day recruitment needs in order to support the company's hiring efforts. The TA Consultant I will be responsible for providing support to the hiring managers on the day-to-day operational aspect of the Talent Acquisition function while providing front line support and fulfillment of all hiring needs
MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists in branding and establishing a recognizable Best in Class, "Employer of Choice" reputation for Lendmark, both internally and externally
- Acts in accordance with and promotes Lendmark's best practices and procedures for recruitment and hiring, ensuring that hiring managers follow these procedures to enable stronger hires with less turnover
- Assists with the development of innovative, creative, and proactive recruitment / sourcing strategies to develop high quality active and passive candidate pipelines, including military, college campus or university relations, etc
- Provides training and counsel to hiring managers as it relates to Talent Acquisition policies and procedures
- Works closely with TA team members and hiring managers to identify, recruit, hire and onboard top talent
- Schedules and conducts telephone screenings of internal and external applicants
- Manages posting and maintenance of job openings on external sites and social media outlets
- Manages the onboarding process to include I-9 completion and other required new hire paperwork and activities
- Participates in networking functions and career fairs to further develop candidate pipeline
- May work with and manage external vendors, vendor contracts (temp agencies; relocation vendor) as appropriate
- Manages Applicant Tracking System to ensure accuracy and completion throughout the hiring process
- Arranges travel and manage expenses for candidates
- Assists with candidate management and candidate inquiries
- Drives other miscellaneous tasks that support the TA team
- Manages Company risk relative to position
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
- 3+ years of Human Resources & Talent Acquisition/Recruiting
- 3+ years of experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS Systems
- Knowledge of Fair Hiring Practices
- Knowledge of I-9 & E-Verify requirements
- Knowledge of Federal/State employment requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience recruiting for all organizational levels (entry level to C-Suite)
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
- Team player willing to pitch in wherever needed to get the job done
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience sourcing passive candidates
- PHR/SHRM-CP certification
- Prior HR experience in the financial services industry
- Working Knowledge of Paycom
- Working Knowledge of Visio
- Advanced level Excel proficiency
- Knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter Platform
- Experience using job boards
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Normal office environment
- Minimal travel: less than 10%
