Job Description:

The position of Design Engineer reports directly to the Vice President of Engineering. Responsibilities for the position of Project Engineer will include but are not limited to the following:

• Creation of CAD layouts for new and modified products.
• Creation and modification of assembly drawings and documentation for new and modified products.
• Creation and modification of Bills of Materials.
• Coordination of engineering assets to complete projects in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Communication of Engineering projects, project details, and any potential issues company wide on an as needed basis.
• Follow up and resolution of any unresolved project issues.
• Test and validate new designs as appropriate

Requirements:

• Industry experience Preferred: Manufacturing/Metals background relative to fabrication, machining, welded products
• 2-4yr Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Autocad and 3D- use Inventor but will look at other 3D CAD experience such as Solidworks
• Minimum of 2yrs experience
