Job description

Forest Park, GA Trucking Company is looking for a 3-5 year tax professional with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

*This Tax Compliance Professional will be responsible for the following: *

* CNG Tax Filings
* Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Payroll tax filings (including W-2 and 1099's)
* Various State and local filings
* Business Personal Property Tax Filings
* Coordination and organization of Real Estate Tax Management
* Workers Compensation Filings
* Various Census Reports
* Research and Prepare Response to tax notices
* Special projects as assigned

*Candidates should have the following skills / professional traits: *

* Delegate work assignments, gives authority to work independently, sets expectations, and monitors delegated activities.
* Supervise and perform detailed reviews of workpapers completed by other associates
* Manage expectations effectively through clear and continuous communication with Company Executive Management
* Can work under the pressure of deadlines with multiple priorities.
* Initiative to research, present findings, issues & recommendations to management.
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Develop an ability to motivate and train both self and staff.
* Advanced user of MS Office product, especially Excel
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Detail oriented, ability to implement concepts
* Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Understand the business and is responsive to the needs of operating business partners.
* Produce timely and accurate financial analysis to aid decision making.
* Recommend and implement improvements, as needed.

*Education and Experience*

Requires BS/BA in Accounting or Finance Discipline with 3-5 years of experience in related field.

*Preferred Qualifications*

CPA preferred.
