If you're looking for a growth opportunity, join us at XPO.As the Principal Architect, Software Engineering, you'll be responsible for communicating with product/ Business to determine their requirements, creating comprehensive solution plans, and leading a team of software engineers as they develop polished final products. What you'll do on a typical day:Collaborate with the product management team to define, the new product lines, upgrade path for existing products and defining project scope and approachPropose and lead the software product architecture to cover functional and non-functional requirements using Microservice design principles, integration strategies and the deployment strategiesDesign and develop Microservices using cutting edge technologies such as Microsoft C#, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, Couchbase, Kafka, Rabbit MQ, Elastic Search, and more Enter primary dutyDefine software development standards and best practices that should be followed within the software development team Mentor other senior and junior software engineers on the team and will make sure that the software development standards and best practices are being followed within the teamWhat you need to succeed at XPO:At a minimum, you'll need:Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience Enter years/industry experience5 or more years of development experience in software product architecture, design and development within a software industryExperience in architecting and developing software for scalable Infrastructure and distributed systems.It'd be great if you also have:Master's degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent experience3 years of experience with Visual Studio, TeamCity, Octopus, Docker and Kubernetes ContainersExperience in software scaling, software/hardware resource monitoring, Vertical scaling and horizontal scaling of software systems.Microservices and Domain Driven Design exposureMVC pattern and Spring frameworkActive advocate for quality, technical and architectural standards.Be part of something big.XPO is a leading provider of world-class solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
