Financial Reporting Manager

Micromeritics has an exciting opportunity for a manager of Financial Reporting to support our Global Operations, headquartered in Norcross, GA. This role, which reports to the Corporate Controller, will have significant visibility to senior management and requires the ability to effectively collaborate across the organization in a fast-paced environment. The individual will be responsible for all facets of financial reporting, including external reporting, implementation of new accounting pronouncements, debt compliance, and working with external tax advisors.

Primary Responsibilities

• External financial reporting, including annual audited financial statements and monthly debt compliance
• Technical accounting support and implementation of new guidance
• Coordination of annual audit
• Consolidation of financial results
• Oversight and review of financial activities at foreign locations
• Key participant in Annual Operating Plan
• Interaction with our tax advisors, bankers, insurers
• Review and strengthening of internal controls
• Annual registrations and sales tax compliance
• Ad Hoc financial analysis and reporting
• Special projects

Desired Qualifications

• BS Degree in Accounting, CPA preferred.

• 4+ years' experience, with at least 2 years in a Big Four or large regional public accounting firm

• Manufacturing/commercial industry experience

• Strong PC (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and business system skills

• Strong knowledge of GAAP

• Proven ability to work well in a cross-functional environment

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

• Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely across all levels of the organization

• Strong analytical skills
