RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Norcross, GA that is seeking a Senior Business Analyst.

Summary:
Our client has selected us as their solution partner to expedite and improve the quality of data being collected and consolidated from merger and acquisition (M&A) targets into their standard systems. This new M&A Data Integration solution should incorporate a lessening of dependence on manual processes while expediting the processing of data, and improving the overall quality of the data ingested. Ideally, this solution would also -learn- from batch to batch and M&A target to target for improved data integration across time. The Senior Business Analyst will define and optimize standard processes for capturing data from external organizations for integration into the client's core systems. This data will be supplied from organizations with different technology platforms and data schemas as a result of merger and acquisition (M&A) activity.

Responsibilities :
* Senior Business Analyst will create data validation requirements, business rule requirements, exception handling logic, field descriptions and attribute relationships, and standardized formats for capturing data from external organizations for integration into client's core systems
* Create a data dictionary to serve as the foundation for activities that will need to occur to successfully migrate data from external sources into client's core systems
* Document data mapping and data translation rules
* Assist with definition and design of automated, restartable, and reusable data extraction and import scripts supporting M&A-driven data ingestion processes
* Analyze historical results to identify and design further enhancements to M&A-driven data ingestion processes
* Senior Business Analyst will define requirements to address traceability, auditability, and repeatability needs arising from M&A-driven data ingestion processes

REQUIREMENTS:
* BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
* Minimum of 7 years of professional experience
* Must have experience as a Business Analyst on projects which involved migrating data from one system to another
* Must have experience creating data dictionaries or interface control specifications
* Must be proficient analyzing data in Microsoft Excel
* Must have experience interviewing stakeholders to define and document requirements
* Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and assistance
* Experience as a Business Analyst on projects which integrated multiple, diverse data sets of varying levels of completeness and quality is highly preferred
* Experience writing SQL for data discovery and validation purposes is highly preferred
* Master Data Management (MDM) platform experience preferred
* Experience with Cloud implementations preferred
