Responsibilities
A DAY IN THE LIFE
As the Recruiting Coordinator, you'll support and coordinate recruiting and HR efforts across Synoptek North America.
THE BASICS

Employee and Candidate Engagement/ Employee and Candidate Facing Experience: 1+
RECRUITMENT APTITUDE
* Coordinates calendars and schedules phone screens & interviews of sourced candidates (both internal and external) with relevant parties.
* Maintains data integrity within Synoptek's applicant tracking system by updating existing job templates.
* Responsible for updating and maintaining job description repository.
* Tracks candidate experience and profile by ensuring completion of pre-employment assessments (i.e., cognitive assessments, background verifications, personal reference checks, etc.)
* Partners with Synoptek's marketing team to promote and position the company on social media, LinkedIn, GlassDoor and other sites with job opportunities and employer branding.
* Coordinates and schedules career fairs in Canada and the United States.
* Partners with HR Operations & Payroll to coordinate new hire onboarding of selected candidates.
* Reviews documents, including requisitions, to ensure compliance with EEO and Company policies.
* Arranges travel details for candidate in-person interviews.
* Attends department meetings and other meetings as required.
* Provides general administrative support for the HR & Recruiting team, including but not limited to ordering office supplies, distributing mail, shipping, filing, ordering food, etc.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
* Associates degree or higher preferred
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* Proficient computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
* Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound judgment
* Ability to work on multiple assignments and manage time effectively
* Detail oriented
* Ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization
* Demonstrated ability to take initiative, ask questions, and prioritize
* Capable of working independently as required

WORKING CONDIDTIONS
Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install computer equipment.
* Light to moderate lifting may be required.
* Regular, predictable attendance is required.
