Job Description
1. Expertise in analytical chemistry which includes:
- B.S is chemistry, biology or related science and minimum 2 years of laboratory experience. LCMS, HPLC, GCMS, GC-ECD and/or experience in testing polychlorinated bi-phenols (PCBs)
- Understanding of quantitative analysis, e.g. external calibration, internal standard calibration, standard addition
- Familiarity with Agilent instrumentation, Chemstation and Mass Hunter experience preferred
2. Review chromatograms and tentatively identified compounds
3. Work comfortably in a fast-paced environment with firm deadlines
4. Perform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshoot problems when necessary
5. Author standard operating procedures and demonstrate the ability to follow procedures
6. Collaborate effectively in a team environment
7. Communicate constructively with other team members and managers
8. Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office (Including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Our 17,000 square foot facility is first class and includes amenities such as locker rooms and showers. We are located on the Fox River, less than 1 mile from Geneva Metra station.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

- Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
- GC/MS: 2 years (Preferred)
- LC/MS: 2 years (Required)
