Job description
Kelly Science has an immediate opening for our growing client for Tech Advisor at a Large Sterilization company in the greater Chicago area.
Direct Hire
Salary: $90,000-$100,000
Responsibilities:
a. Design and develop new processes
b. Prepare excel spreadsheets and reports
c. Analyze data
d. Technical Advisor must communicate with Customers, Sterilization facilities, Laboratory Services, Customer Service, Sales and Management. Serves as Technical liaison for internal and external customers for sterilization
e. Communicate/train technical instructions to facility personnel
f. Prepare project loads for processing as defined in the protocol
g. Preparing protocols and final reports
h. Communicate project schedule to S.E.A.S. Project Manager
i. Update/maintain assigned project status in project management software system
j. Communicate with customer as assigned by Technical Director or Project Manager
k. Perform additional job functions as assigned by Management
l. Provide support on lean efficient flow management
2. Use scientific knowledge to assist in R&D and New Technology development projects
3. Distribute study output, e.g., protocols, final reports, addendums, etc., to personnel and customers as defined by the Technical Director
4. Maintain project schedule and all timelines
5. Monitor the costs associated with the project as quoted and inform Technical Director when quote amount is exceeded
Experience Requirements (Skills, Knowledge and Abilities)
• 5+ years' experience working in medical device or pharmaceutical sterilization
• Strong working knowledge of the applicable sterilization and quality system standards
• Proficient in the usage of Excel spreadsheets
• Word processing and statistical application software
• Must be able to manage multiple projects and maintain excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are a must
• Organizational skills are a must
• Provide public speaking support as needed
• Client interface will be often
• Must be medically approved for respirator use and able to tolerate exposure to high temperatures and humidity (120 degrees F and 60% RH for 20 minutes)
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Education/License/Technical Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in a related Science or Engineering discipline
• Travel may be required
