The Headlines :
In the role of Business Analyst working in Chicago, IL you will be part of the Tenth and Blake Team.
This position reports to the Director of Sales and Strategy for Tenth and Blake
The Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development of selling stories, retail tools, and business reports to help drive distribution and growth, to be sent to our commercial and brewery/Leinenkugel's teams
- Partner with sales, our craft partners, Leinenkugel's, and the larger MC organization to communicate business trends, highlight opportunities to close any business gaps, and evaluate results
- Develop hypotheses, analyses, and recommendations around difficult and ambiguous business problems, and gaining agreement and facilitating the implementation of these projects
- Support the situational assessment of current industry dynamics and emerging trends
- Work collaboratively with the Nielsen, Insights, COE, and selling team to maximize effectiveness of analytical support provided
- Support the cadence of the strategic planning process for craft, brewery, and Leinenkugel's partners
- Knowledge base as a key craft expert within the MC organization
- Connect with MC strategy to ensure knowledge sharing and long-range plan alignment
- Consolidation of all selling materials for distribution to the MC organization
- Communication of tools throughout the partner, Leinenkugel's, and MC orgs
TheOtherQualifications:
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience, beer industry experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability and knowledge of financial models, P&L and scenario modeling
- Demonstrated executive presence and influence
- Demonstrated strategic thinker, with track record of producing actionable solutions
- Proven analytical and conceptual thinking with ability to develop a hypothesis and frame key questions to prove/disprove these hypotheses
- Demonstrated management of key stakeholders
- Ability to scope business problems by understanding the nature of the problem while, distilling complex data into simple, actionable stories
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to function effectively with a cross-functional team Project management of workstreams from strategy development to implementation
- A creative and strategic thinker with the ability to conduct extensive, data based analysis to formulate solid, actionable proposals to senior management
- Using sound judgment and operate independently with strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written
