Description:

Need a Business Analyst (ideally with agile experience) who can come in and work with their technology team in Chicago and their operations team. They need help getting their back log back in order. They ideally want them to come from an asset servicing experience and ideally corporate actions experience. Experience in Asset management and OPS readiness.

This through be a strong BA who has the ability to follow the data (i.e. how data flows, rules and how to document it). They should be able to work with change / ops readiness, have the ability to learn a new system, They are looking to get someone in Chicago.

The expectation that upon return to office, they will be open to going in.

Contractor's Role: Looking for a strong BA to join the team to work primarily on the Strategic Client Data and Tax change work that will span over a multi-year plan. Main methodology being followed is waterfall even though the overall program is Agile based. Exposure to Tax operations related vended systems like Xceptor, a plus.

Qualifications:

o Gathering requirements, process modelling and data analysis

o Working with the design teams to ensure that the requirements are understood and that the delivered design fulfils all of the requirements adequately

o Supporting the technology teams through the build and unit test activities to ensure that all requirements are understood

o Working with business teams to elicit input and support the planning and execution of user acceptance testing

o Supporting the test team through pre-acceptance testing, system testing and system integration testing

o Assisting with operation readiness, data migration, user testing and roll-out as necessary

• BA skills covering:-

o Understand business strategy and collaborate with business and technology to facilitate the development project scope

o Lead development of function and non-functional business requirements

o Responsible for providing expertise, analysis and driving change for a variety of strategic transformational and operational initiatives

o Look across corporate strategic initiatives to understand how big picture initiatives link together in a holistic roadmap

o Provide oversight, direction and management to assigned Bas with appropriate span of control

o Review requirements for quality and completeness and hold team accountable to business analyst execution standards

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Experience of having worked in a Global Custody and/or Asset Servicing environment is key

• Basic understanding tax operations management / entitlements processing including industry best practice

• Knowledge of Agile methodology including experience of extensive story writing / EPIC writing

• Experience of data analysis including data mapping

• MS Office skills around excel, powerpoint, word, visio required

• Strong communication skllls, collaboration and stakeholder management

• Experience of working in a large multiyear global transformation project

• Having done the BA role for 5 years or more

• BA certifications is encouraged

• Experience of working with the BaNCs, IMActions and Xceptor systems strongly desired

• Strong knowledge of tax operations management / entitlements processing including industry best practice
