Job description

Northern Trust technology managers have a vast amount of priorities to balance including security, risk, business requirements, lifecycle management, and others. This service delivery role will help CIOs and technology leaders to understand and prioritize these requirements. This role will act as a single point of contact for Application Managers for the various NT Technology programs to ensure these applications teams are informed and able to meet their commitments. The predominant current focus will be on Security and Lifecycle, with the possibility for additional growth as appropriate.

This application impact liaison will partner with the myriad of programs and projects, understand those requirements, how they impact applications, and translate those into clear communications for those impacted.

The ideal candidate has experience leading technology projects that impact large numbers of applications and can manage communications and relationships with a large number of stakeholders.

Major Duties

* Have a full command of the execution of the various initiatives, work with key partners to resolve and escalate to the program leader as needed.
* Lead communication efforts and planning with impacted applications teams / stakeholders.
* Prepare materials as needed that resonate with and inform partners.
* Contribute to PowerBI and enterprise reporting strategy
* Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business and technology to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity
* Communication of program objectives; risks; issues and overall status to multiple levels of the organization.
* Facilitation of cross discipline (business unit) coordination for decision making regarding scope; prioritization and issue resolution.

Knowledge/Skills

* Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
* Highly flexible and adaptable to change
* Team work skills to drive execution without direct reporting line responsibilities
