Job description

Objective of Position: To accomplish management's marketing objectives to attract new business and expand current institution relationships. Designs, develops and implements solicitation programs to attract new customers in the business community and responsible for meeting deposit growth targets.Duties and Responsibilities:Build a portfolio of deposit relationships.Targets new account and deposit goals as assigned by Senior Management.Makes retention and business development calls on existing and potential new clients.Documents calls and makes weekly call reports to supervisor.Assists in the implementation and coordination of institution-wide business development call program.Partners with branches to help drive new business.Discusses client needs, problems or complaints with senior managers.Arranges meetings between clients or prospective clients and appropriate financial institution representatives.Represents the bank at various civic and community functions to enhance its image and develop new business.Promotes favorable image of the bank in targeted business activities within the community.Helps facilitate the introduction of new products and services as required.Requirements:5+ years of retail banking experience with proven sales skills.Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Marketing.Strong retail banking sales culture experience. General understanding of business and commercial banking.Self-directed sales professional who can manage to assigned goals.Good interpersonal skills.Strong presentation skills.Understanding of Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office equipment. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices.ExperienceRequired5 year(s): Strong retail banking sales culture experience.
