SkyWater has been retained by a well-established and respected financial services organization in the Chicago area to identify their next Chief Information Officer:
This 75-year old mission-drive organization is known for their phenomenal corporate culture, strong senior leadership team, and challenging work. A forward-thinking company, the Chief Information Officer sits on the executive leadership team, reporting to the CEO, and will help drive the next round of their technology transformation over the next 3-5 years, including the implementation of a new administration platform, an infrastructure move to the cloud, and a new approach to their enterprise analytics strategy.
The Chief Information Officer provides strategy and leadership for all aspects of information technology, governance, and security; developing and implementing information technology initiatives. The role works collaboratively with members of the Executive Leadership Team to understand the strategic direction and priorities of the organization and develop and align the information systems strategy accordingly. The role develops and monitors the implementation of long-term and short-term strategies, work plans and projects that provide for the orderly and cost-effective development, installation and operation of information systems, network and communications technologies. The CIO identifies trends in technology and interprets their impact on the organization. The functions under this role's purview - and the role's direct and indirect reports - include all phases of systems design and analysis, applications and systems programming, database management, telecommunications, security and operations.
*** We are currently only considering candidates in the Chicago area, or willing to relocate to the Chicago area. It is expected that the CIO is on-site about 50% of the time. ***
