Job Summary

We are currently seeking a full-time Child Support Business Analyst that is ready for a challenging, rewarding, and long-term engagement! The incumbent will be working in a highly collaborative and dynamic team environment, which encourages continuous learning and improvement as well as cross training.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Performs planning, analysis, designing, requirements definition, functional design, testing and implementation of SAP based Child Support solution.
• Meets with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements and systems goals.
• Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements.
• Facilitate Joint Application Design sessions.
• Creates functional specifications, diagrams and charts to provide direction to application developers.
• Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements
• Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.
• Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyses, and solve software problems.
• Document functional designs, test cases and results.
• Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements
• Provide consulting services on new implementation
• Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
• Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required
• Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Child Support knowledge a must.
• Experience with Child Support data model and interfaces.
• Experience with Child Support related Forms.
• Experience with full SDLC process including analysis, design, implementation, testing, support, documentation, and training
• Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with State of IL Child Support legacy systems is a plus.
• Public company experience is a plus
• Previous consulting industry experience in a technical or business analyst role (a plus)
