Job description

Our client, a top professional services legal firm, is looking for a Collections Analyst for a 6+ month contract assignment. This role can be hybrid (in-office and remote) or remote, depending on the right candidate. This role will have full responsibility for assisting the firm to ensure client invoices are accurately prepared in a timely manner and payments from clients are received.

Responsibilities

• Serve as support to Billing & Collection Committee
• Manage collections of select clients
• Contact delinquent clients to discuss open/pending invoices and get resolution on completion of payments
• Maintain monthly statements
• Follow-up with clients in a professional manner who are non-responsive via letter series
• Document all activities for tracking purposes

Requirements

• Ideally a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business and commercial collection experience or related Collections or Accounts Receivable experience
• Ideally working knowledge of American Collectors Association statues and regulations
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and work in a team environment and independently
• Strong analytics and decision-making skills
