Salary $180,000 - $220,000 Depending On Experience

Highly Experienced Data Architect to join the third Global Leader in Business Consultancy, taking your career to unthinkable levels as you work with a business that favours innovation to orchestrate the results of champions.

This role is based in Chicago where you will work closely with the Software Solutions Team to support clients across the world, developing bespoke software solutions and engineering platforms.

Some of what you will be doing:

· Working collaboratively with the Software Solutions and Cloud Engineering Team to conceptualize and implement the most effective Data Architecture for Products.

· Handling the Design of Data Schemas, Ingestion and Transformation. Including performance and product quality reviews prior to release.

· Constructing Data Integration Strategies in unison with Product Teams and Clients.

· Conducting Technical Evaluations and Risk Assessments to analyse the performance of Vendor Software.

· Overseeing that both the Software Solutions and Cloud Engineering team include the business' processes and standards within all work completed.

· Undertaking Investigations in emerging patterns within new Technology and Solutions, putting you in front of competitors.

· Providing Support to the Engineers amongst the implementation of new software to clients, ensuring best practices are followed.

Ideally, your skills and experience will include:

· 8+ Years Experience within Data Architecture or Engineering from an Enterprise Background.

· Bachelors Degree within Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or Information Science.

· Strong Experience with SQL or Similar Database Management Systems.

· Experience with NoSQL Databases e.g, MongoDB, DynamoDB or Cassandra.

· Experience with Cloud Based Platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.

It would be great if you also had:

· Experience within a Business Consultancy or Technology Industry.

· Experience with Big Data Technologies and Data Logistics, such as Apache Flink, Kafka or Nifi.

· Strong Understanding of the Hadoop Ecosystem including Hive, HBase or Pig.
