Job description

We're excited to share this new addition to our People & Culture team will be responsible for providing coordination and assistance to the People & Culture Department by ensuring the effective delivery of all people processes across the employment lifecycle. The People & Culture (HR) Coordinator will also get the opportunity to work alongside the broader business on organizational development and employee relations that support the business vision, strategic plan, and operations.


What will you do?

  • Support in creating and maintaining people related administration processes and systems (e.g employment files, policies, guides etc)
  • General correspondence, admin & record keeping including policy management and training
  • Provide guidance and support to supervisors and managers on P&C/employee relations matters, escalating up to P&C Manager as necessary
  • Provide guidance and consultation to employees on performance, policies and compliance, benefits and other P&C related queries
  • Assist with the coordination of onboarding and induction activities
  • Support turnover tracking by conducting exit interviews, reporting and disseminating exit data to leadership to best support retention and engagement efforts
  • Ensure compliance with federal/state/local regulatory standards governing pre-employment practices
  • Support other functions as required; such as talent acquisition, payroll and benefits
  • Work alongside the people and culture team on special projects and initiatives
  • Administrative tasks as required


Our Ideal Candidate

  • 0 - 2 years' experience in HR Officer/HR Consultant role and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Law, Psychology, Business or Organizational Development
  • General knowledge and experience in recruitment, employment law, Industrial instruments (Awards & EA's), organizational development, employee relations and development
  • Exhibit knowledge of hiring practices, behavioral-based interview techniques, tracking processes for applicants and open positions, and recruiting metrics
  • Well-developed communications skills with the ability to relate effectively with a wide range of people, positively influencing outcomes and obtaining cooperation
  • Well organized with the ability to plan work, cope with conflicting work pressures, establish appropriate priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Has a sense of humor, is self-confident and a highly energetic, creative thinker
  • Has the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Has a high skill level in customer service and teamwork
  • Excellent level of computer literacy (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
